Judy's Fund
Judy was my best friend for more than 45 years. She died of multiple myeloma in 2025. With generous donations from friends Karen Stoker and Jodi Uecker, Judy’s Fund was created to honor her life and her legacy. She believed deeply in dignity, compassion, and access to accurate, evidence-based healthcare for all. She was a loyal friend, a thoughtful listener, and a quiet but powerful advocate for women’s rights and human dignity.
At a time when misinformation is rampant, public health principles are under attack, and access to care is increasingly restricted, Judy’s Fund responds with action. The fund supports expanded access to the most effective forms of contraception for individuals who are uninsured or underinsured, particularly in rural communities. With many employers excluding contraceptive coverage, Medicaid funding shrinking, and insurance costs rising, this support is more critical than ever.
Judy’s Fund honors a life lived with empathy and purpose and ensures that her values continue to create real, tangible impact.
