MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct Patient Care  

  • Perform routine physical examination, assessment and diagnosis.  Provide sexual health care services to all genders.  

  • Document assessment, diagnosis, and services provided in the electronic health record system.  

  • Contact patients for follow-up of abnormal test results, referral and follow-up.

  • Develop clinical protocols as needed

  • Provide sexual health education at the community college and other partner organizations

  • Participate in regular staff meetings and clinician meetings.  Assist with training of medical staff and volunteers.  

  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned including Covid19 vaccine and testing clinics

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Requires completion of advanced practice nursing or medical degree or physician’s assistant education program  and appropriate certification. Requires current license to practice in Minnesota, current CPR licensure, current and appropriate certification in field of practice. 

 

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS Combination of clinic and office environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medical preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment. Requires exposure to blood and bodily fluids. 

 

SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES 

Employee must demonstrate to the Medical Director the specific skills, knowledge and abilities to provide patient examination and assessment. Experience with reproductive health and sexual health strongly desired. Experience with a variety of Electronic Health Record systems strongly desired.

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP 

The Provider works in a collaborative environment. As required by certain licensing bodies, the provider is supervised by the Medical Director (or other designated provider) for medical performance and reports to the Executive Director for non-medical aspects of the job.

Office Manager

0.6-0.8 FTE Position (part-time)

Office Manager Essential Functions:

 

  • Manage clinic appointment desk operations; this includes phone and computer communications, enrolling clients in insurance and checking eligibility 

  • Balance and maintain accurate ledgers

  • Match purchase orders with invoices through communication with clinic manager

  • Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management

  • Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts

  • Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances

  • Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets--send out to E.D. within 1 week of month end

  • Maintain system for bill paying and review monthly for accuracy

  • Generate reports within 1 week after fundraising events--include financial tally and list of donors/participants when necessary

  • Maintain and update donor list 

  • Send electronic thank yous for online donations

  • Maintain accounting codes and update as needed

  • Manage Volunteer schedule for front desk

  • Assist ED in developing reports for grants, communicating with community partners and other related tasks

  • Record information necessary for grant reporting weekly

 

Education, Experience, and Skills:

 

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

  • Preferred two years accounting or bookkeeping experience or AA degree including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports.

  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.

  • Ability to operate a calculator, computer, and other general office equipment.

  • Knowledge of computerized accounting, but must be able to do a manual set of books.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.

  • Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential.
